I am a 4th generation West Sacramentan (very few folks can say this!). My great grandparents on my mother's side Maria and Giorgio Rivera left Spain in 1907. They worked (literally) their way west until settling in what is now called Southport in 1914. Here they farmed and raised their 9 children. I have been a full time Realtor for over 29 years achieving many awards and honors in this time and have made many friends that were once(and still) clients.

I was born and raised in Sacramento. I graduated from one of the local high schools, Luther Burbank HS, in 1979. I have worked and lived in the Sacramento and surrounding areas my whole life. I can truly say “I know the area”.

I spent over 27 years in the lumber and construction industry. I started out sweeping the floors of a local lumber company at age 15 and working my way up to General Manager of Star Crest Lumber. We worked hand in hand with one of Sacramento Valley’s largest home builders. Again I can truly say “I know residential housing”.

I have had my own personal real estate transactions from buying and selling homes to buying and selling bare land. So in 2009 I decided to become a real estate agent to help my friends and family with their real estate needs. I have earned the honors of Sacramento Associate of Realtors Master Club designation in both 2012 & 2013 and qualified for the same honor in 2015 & 2018. That places me it the top 10% of agents in our area. So again, I can truly say “I know the real estate market”.

It is with that experience, and my affiliation with S & S Realty, that I find myself uniquely qualified to help any buyer, or seller, with navigating the real estate market to best achieve their real estate needs. And now I can truly say “I am the agent you need”

On a more personal note this is who I am.

My wife and I have been together for over 35 years. We have been married for 32 of them. We have raised two fine young men. Our oldest is currently serving in the US Air Force and our youngest graduated from CSUS in 2019. Recently I started coaching high school boys & girls golf. If you don’t find me sitting at my desk, you will find me at one of our local golf courses or on our local waterways fishing. I can truly say “I know how to have fun too”.
